Cooper Mountain Nature Park - Family Portraits - Beaverton/Portland Metro Area
I do want to note that it is important to stay on trails at this park. There is poison oak growing and the ranger that was there mentioned that some poison oak doesn't even have any leaves anymore so you wouldn't even know if you were touching it! Also, there are signs posted for photographers to stay on trail. For years I have gone off trail and even this year I might of gone off trail for a few shoots, but I will not anymore. This beautiful land has been trampled down by photographers, even with the sign saying to not do so. Guys, if we keep trampling off trail areas, photography will not be allowed there. I would not be shocked if next year they ban photographers all together. Please take care of the property and respect the rules. There are plenty of on trail spots to take gorgeous portraits. BTW, the area behind the parking lot that is reserved for nature classes is just that, reserved for nature classes. Just because it is manicured and mowed does not mean we can go back there (I thought we could but I was wrong).
So, now my little PSA is done. Here are some pictures from yesterday!
